BI Lead Developer
Responsibilities:
- Participate in development of data store, risk margin and client reporting applications as a senior developer, mentor and team lead
- Work with large systems that comprise of several applications. Understand and learn how applications interact with other applications in the bank or outside the bank.
- Develop applications using open source or in house frameworks. We will be working with a data-warehouse, ETL, Business Intelligence, GUI and other core backend applications.
- Rapid prototyping and evaluate open source frameworks and other in house solutions. Make technology recommendations.
Requirements:
- Solid Java Core knowledge, J2EE
- Hibernate, Spring
- Good understanding and programming experience (e.g. development experience, scripting languages experience, OO-concepts understanding, understanding of interfaces, etc.)
- Strong DWH (Oracle is a preference) and BI development experience (Micro Strategy, Cognos, Oracle BO, etc.)
- Good software and hardware platforms background
- Good problem solving skills
- Leadership experience (3-5 people)
